Egyptian Obelisk. Originally located in Luxor, this is the oldest monument in Paris dating back over 3,000 years. The white structure next to it is temporary, as the city was preparing for Bastille Day Celebrations.

The Pont Alexandre III bridge. It was built for the 1900 World Fair and to celebrate a French-Russian alliance. An engineering feat of the day, the bridge is one giant arch, and lacks any pillars below that would disrupt the river traffic of the Seine.

Can’t leave Paris without having steak frites (with a mysterious green sauce).
